This July, I celebrated my birthday somwhere special - and honestly, I almost wanted to keep it a secret. But I’ll share…because it was that good.

I went to Aruba for 24hrs- and one the absolute highlights was discovering Secrets Baby Beach, a calm, beautiful spot that instantly became one of my favorite adults-only-feeling escapes on the island.

First Impressions: The Stay

From the moment we arrived, the hotel set the tone for the trip. The room was incredibly spacious, the hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the property had multiple pools that made it easy to relax without ever feeling crowded.

Between pool hopping and beach walks, I spent a lot of time at the bars — where I had the freshest Paloma of my life. No exaggeration. It was one of those simple travel moments that just sticks with you.

The resort was also perfectly located — so close to the beach that going back and forth felt effortless. Pool views plus ocean access? My favorite combination.

Birthday Surprise (and the Cake I’m Still Thinking About)

For my birthday, the hotel helped my partner surprise me with a cake, champagne, and ballons that was unforgettable. This tiramisu type cake was apassionfruit creation that was light, flavorful, and honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had while traveling. I’m still thinking about it.

Food Review: What I Loved (and What I’d Skip Next Time)

One of my dining experiences was Oceania Seafood Restaurant at the resort. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the appetizers were the real stars. We ordered several and loved every single one — fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully.

The entrées, though, didn’t quite match the magic of the starters. They took a little longer to come out and just weren’t as visually impressive or memorable. Still good— just not at the same level.

Next time, we’re planning to try the Latin American restaurant that was highly recommended to us.

The Final Day: Champagne, Breakfast & Birds

Our final hours was the perfect send-off. We popped champagne, enjoyed the sunshine, and I finally finished that passionfruit cake (yes… still amazing).

Breakfast was another standout. The spread was huge, everything tasted fresh, and they offered fresh juices that made it feel extra special. I’m not a big breakfast person, so this suprised me — and I loved their bread selection. So many choices, all delicious.

The only unexpected guests? Birds, who were very interested in our neighbor’s breakfast. It made for a funny, memorable moment and honestly added to the experience.

Final Thoughts

Secrets Baby Beach was truly amazing — relaxing, beautiful, and perfect for celebrating something special. Between the pools, the views, the beach access, and some unforgettable food moments, it’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to.
